Scope of services

JC Car Detailing provides mobile vehicle cleaning and detailing services as described on this website or in your quote. The exact work to be completed will be confirmed at the time of booking and may be adjusted on arrival based on the actual condition of the vehicle.

Quotes, pricing and surcharges

All prices listed are “from” prices and are based on average vehicle condition. Heavily soiled vehicles, pet hair, sand, stains, spillages or excessive contamination may attract additional charges, which will be discussed with you before any work starts. Travel fees may apply for some locations.

Bookings, cancellations and rescheduling

We understand that plans can change. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please provide as much notice as possible. Same-day cancellations or repeated late changes may result in a fee, particularly where we have travelled to your location or turned away other bookings.

Access to vehicle and property

You are responsible for ensuring safe and reasonable access to the vehicle and any required parking space. For mobile jobs, we may need access to water and power unless otherwise agreed. If we are unable to safely access the vehicle, we may cancel or shorten the service and a call-out fee may apply.

Personal items and valuables

Please remove personal items and valuables from your vehicle before your appointment. JC Car Detailing is not responsible for loss of, or damage to, personal belongings left inside the vehicle.

Vehicle condition and limitations

While we take great care, some marks, stains, odours or defects may be permanent and cannot be fully removed. We do not guarantee that every stain or defect will be eliminated. Any existing damage will be noted where possible prior to starting.

Liability

We are insured and take reasonable care in all work performed. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the cost of the services provided. We are not liable for pre-existing damage, wear and tear, hidden defects or issues arising from manufacturer faults or prior repairs.

Photos and marketing

We may take before-and-after photos of your vehicle for our records and marketing (for example, on our website or social media), but we will avoid showing number plates or personal information where reasonably possible. If you do not want photos of your vehicle used in marketing, please let us know at the time of booking or on the day of service.

Payment terms

Unless otherwise agreed, payment is due on completion of the service. We currently accept card payments and/or cash as agreed. Late or unpaid amounts may be referred to a collection process if necessary.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The version published on this website at the time of your booking will apply to your service.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of South Australia and the applicable laws of Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of South Australia.
